WWC Fundraiser October 9th

We can do this together!

Start your fall cleaning now! Clean out those closets, purge those storage bins, and help WWC raise $$$ at the same time!

For the next two months we’ll be gathering our gently used items, kitchenware, and small appliances. We will be partnering with Savers, at 14427 Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge. They will give us a portion of the proceeds they receive for the items we donate on October 9th.

This process works by weight and volume. Ideally, if we can donate 139 tall kitchen bags worth of items between us (or about 36 medium boxes), that will equate to approximately $500 for the club.

We’ll work out details on how to get it all delivered on October 9th. We may need volunteers to transport, or different members might want to carpool. All items need to be dropped off at 10 a.m. October 9th behind the Savers building.

What do they take? Just about anything!

Men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, coats, shoes, scarves, handbags, wallets, fashion accessories, ties, belts, backpacks, etc.

Household Textiles

Bedding, comforters, blankets, sheets, towels, linen, tablecloths, curtains, pillows, etc.

Small Household Goods

Kitchen items (such as pots/pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, serving pieces and hand-held appliances), home decorative items, knick-knacks, toys, games, and small electronics. Please use bags for clothes and textiles and tightly packed boxes for small household goods.

All items must be clean and in sellable condition.
