Club member Joyce Jolly has received authorization from Prince William County for an individual “Adopt A Spot” in her Belmont Bay Community that is sponsored by the Woodbridge Woman’s Club. A Woodbridge Woman’s Club sign provided by Prince William County will be placed at this location. This project has also been approved by the Club Board as an official project for our Club Environment program. Hours spent working on this project should be reported to the Club Environment Chairman, Marty Seers.
Prince William County, through the “Adopt A Spot” program, allows individual communities to take charge of the health of their neighborhood, block or favorite spot by committing to keeping it litter free. The Club Environment Chairman encourage’s other members to get involved in their neighborhood. Check out the Prince William County website to fill out an application to officially “Adopt A Spot” in your neighborhood.
